Tizennégy híres magyar énekes mondott igent Hrutka Róbert zeneszerző és dalszövegírónak, aki az Országos Vérellátó Szolgálattal együttműködve írt dalt a véradásról és az önzetlen segítségnyújtás fontosságáról.
- Ez a projekt nemcsak egy dal, hanem egy közösségi összefogás egy olyan ügyért, ami igazán számít, hiszen vért csak véradással pótolhatunk – mondta el Bayerné Dr. Matusovits Andrea, az OVSz főigazgatója a „Csak egy hős…” kapcsán. A főigazgató hozzátette, hogy ezzel a dallal szeretnénk kifejezni hálánkat és köszönetünket mindazoknak a véradóknak, akik önzetlen segítségükkel nap mint nap hozzájárulnak a betegellátás sikeréhez. Mint kiemelte, „külön köszönet illeti az előadóművészeket is. Támogatásuk és szerepvállalásuk példaértékű, és nagymértékben hozzájárul ahhoz, hogy még több ember figyelmét felhívjuk a véradás fontosságára.
A jótékonysági kezdeményezéshez az OVSz Hrutka Róbert zeneszerzőt kérte fel, aki mellé olyan ismert előadó- és színművészek csatlakoztak, mint Földes Eszter, Für Anikó, Gubik Petra, Keresztes Ildikó, Kovácsovics Fruzsina, Pásztor Anna, Udvaros Dorottya, Veres Mónika Nika, Fehérvári Gábor Alfréd Freddie, Kowa, Nyerges Attila, Pély Barnabás, Szebényi Dániel, valamint Szolnoki Péter.
Hrutka Róbert, a dallal kapcsolatban elmondta "örömmel tettem eleget a felkérésnek. A zene számomra olyan, mint az élet: megírjuk, eljátsszuk, és nem marad utánunk semmi, csak a dal. Ebben a dalban összefonódik a zene és az élet, az önzetlenség és a remény. Én így tudok leginkább hozzájárulni más életmentéséhez."
