and passengers from Nenagh,
the boys from Connemara
and the Clare unmarried maidens,
and the people from Cork city
who were loyal, true and faithful,
that brought home Fenian prisoners
from dying in foreign nations.

and pipers competing,
the nimble-footed dancers
and they tripping on the daisies,
and others crying „Cigars and lights
and bills of all the races
with the colours of the jockeys
and the prize and horses’ ages”.

It’s there you’d see the jockeys
and they mounted so stately,
the pinks, the blues, the Irisher green,
the emblem of our nation.
When the bell was rung for starting
all the horses seemed impatient,
I thought they’d never stood on ground,
their speed was so amazing.

There was half half a million people
there of all denominations,
the Chatolic, the Protestant,
the Jew and Presbyterian.
There was yet no animosity,
no matter what persuasion,
but sport and hospitality
inducing fresh acquaintance.

Egyre többet tudhatunk meg a bohóc maszk mögül kikacsintó srácról, aki egy évvel ezelőtt debütált Morionesként és akire rekordidőn belül óriási figyelem szegeződött.
Miközben az előadó Manuellel közös, toplistás featje, a „Voodoo Baba” továbbra is pörög, addig is egy új, igazán személyes szólófelvétellel jelentkezik. Az „ALVAJÁR” egy uptempo, pop-latin-deep house dalnosztalgia, amelyben a gyerekkor keveredik a keserédes jelen vívódásaival, miértjeivel.
„Az ALVAJÁR-t nagymamámmal való kapcsolatom ihlette nagyrészt, a jelenem küzdelmei pedig kiegészítették”
– mondja Bakos Kristóf, azaz Moriones, aki múlt héten ünnepelte első albumának, a ’Tébolyda’ egyben karrierjének is csekély egyéves jubileumát. Az akkor még csak zenéjéről és TikTokról ismert fura hajú fiú azóta három önálló, teltházas koncertet adott Budapesten, legutóbbit éppen a közel 1300 férőhelyes Akvárium Klub Nagyhalljában. Ekkor a bohóc a színpadon meghalt, és ezzel egy új érát indított el, kilátásba helyezve egy új lemez érkezését.
Az „ALVAJÁR” is egy mozaikrész, amelyről a dalszerző bővebben így mesélt
„Unokatestvéremmel forgattuk a videóklipet. Mindenképp egy olyan helyet szerettem volna a szám nosztalgikus kedvessége miatt, ahol gyerekkorom nagy részét töltöttem, és a klipben feltűnő hintaágy az volt. Sokszor átmentem és beszélgettünk mamával, és ekkor a nap mindig odasütött. A kontraszt az csak hozzáadódott a történethez, hiszen a bohóc meghalt, de az albummal minden tiszta lesz. Nagyon durva, mert a klip elején a kisfiú én vagyok, ahogy nézi a jelenem. Azt a részletet unokatesóm egy egyetemi projektjéből vettük ki, ami ráadásul egy 14 éves felvétel, hiszen 2010-ben forgott és valahol megtalálta. Eszméletlen sorsszerűen történik ismét minden és mondhatjuk, hogy minden egyszerű volt, hiszen hazamentünk.”
Az „ALVAJÁR” egyfajta életigenlő figyelmeztetés is, hogy a jelen zsúfoltságában, ha a múltat elfelejtjük és nem tudjuk értékelni a pillanatot, azt később meg fogjuk bánni.
