„Ez az a zene, amit csinálni szeretnék” – Izgalmas hangzás, új stílusok Kiss Kevin EP-jén.
A legutóbbi két dal, az Isztambul és Jennifer mellé most három másik érkezett: az Öykü című kislemez előfutára Kevin készülő debütalbumának, és jól tükrözi azt a világot, amiben a fiatal előadó igazán otthon érzi magát.
„A Te vagy az oka olyasmire világít rá, ami sokunkkal megtörténik: amikor az ember mélyre kerül, nem tud tisztán gondolkodni, csak szeretné elnyomni az érzéseit, ezért nyúl alkoholhoz vagy egyéb szerekhez. Ez természetesen nem jó, és én is vallom, hogy ilyen helyzetben segítségre van szükségünk” – fogalmazott Kevin az egyik új dalról.
Ahogyan már az Isztambulnál is kirajzolódott, Kevint érdekli a török kultúra, ezért kapta a kislemez is az Öykü címet, amely egy török női név. Az anyagon azonban nem ez az egyetlen sajátosság: egy másik új megjelenés, a Bye autentikus mexikói alapokkal készült.
„Ez a stílus Magyarországon még nincs jelen, de külföldön fénykorát éli. Számomra nagyon inspiráló: úgy érzem, ez az a zene, amit csinálni szeretnék, amire valahol mindig is vágytam. Ez a dal zeneileg egy varázslat”
– mondta.
A Kevinre jellemző sajátos hangot erősíti a rendkívül fülbemászó Reina is, amely szintén most debütál. „Ahogy a barátaim szokták mondani, ezek mind kevines dalok lettek. Remélem, hogy a közönség is így látja majd, bízom benne, hogy eljutnak hozzájuk és legalább úgy szeretik majd őket hallgatni, mint amennyire én élveztem dolgozni rajtuk” – tette hozzá Kevin, aki május 17-én először áll színpadra zenekarral: a Budapest Parkban Horváth Tamás vendégeként adnak koncertet.
