A Pogány Induló: Vajon mit mondana anya című négyrészes dokusorozat novemberben debütál az HBO Maxon. A hazai premier kicsit korábban, a II. Budapest International Film Festivalon volt.
Egy szegedi tinédzser néhány hónap alatt berobban az interneten
Egy kollégiumi szobából indul minden: Marci Pogány Induló néven kezd rappelni, és szokatlanul mély hangja, valamint intelligens szövegei hamar utat törnek maguknak.

Zenei karrierje azonban nehezen egyeztethető össze az iskolával, így hamarosan Budapesten találja magát. Küzdelmeit őszinte és mély szövegekbe önti, amelyek villámgyorsan növelik Z-generációs rajongótáborát. Ma már tízezrek járnak a koncertjeire, dalait pedig milliók hallgatják.
A sikerek mellett azonban magánéleti és közéleti kihívásokkal is szembe kell néznie, amelyek komoly fizikai és mentális terhet rónak rá.
Marci elképesztő tempót diktál, de vajon tudja végig tartani?
A négy részes sorozat egy felnövés történet, karrierút és korlenyomat is egyben, amit Tóth Olivér Márk, Hégető Honorka-díjas újságíró rendez, az HBO és a The Speak Easy Project támogatásával.

A hazai közönség már októberben ízelítőt kaphatott a sorozatból
A II. Budapest International Film Festival keretében levetítették az első két epizódot.
- Idén fontos újítás, hogy több hazai alkotás is szerepel majd a programunkban, ráadásul egy számunkra is teljesen új formátumot, az HBO Max-szal közösen egy hazai sorozatpremiert is bemutatunk október 25. és november 2. között a BIFF-en - fogalmazott a vetítés kapcsán a fesztivál igazgatója, Horváth Kristóf a premiert megelőzően.
