Bartók Béla, Weiner Leó és Kodály Zoltán emblematikus művei, valamint Gyöngyösi Levente kompozíciója csendül fel a Nemzeti Filharmonikus Zenekar bérleten kívüli hangversenyén a magyar klasszikus zene napján, május 30-án a Zeneakadémián.
Kocsis Zoltán (1952-2016) kétszeres Kossuth- és Liszt Ferenc-díjas zongorista, karmester és zeneszerző évtizedeken át a gyermekek javát szolgáló jótékonysági koncertet adva ünnepelte születésnapját május 30-án.
A nagy művész távoztával ebből a hagyományból nőtt ki és ezt folytatja részben módosult tartalommal
a magyar klasszikus zene napja, amely egyszerre emlékezik Kocsis Zoltánra, az értékek áldozatkész népszerűsítőjére, és tiszteleg a hazai zenekultúra múlt- és jelenbeli kiemelkedő értékei előtt.
Az idei koncerten az új értékeket Gyöngyösi Levente III. divertimentója képviseli, amelyhez természetességgel kapcsolódik Bartók Béla azonos műfajú remeke 1939-ből.
Ezt követően a közönség Weiner Leó zongorára és zenekarra fogalmazott Concertinóját hallhatja, amely a magyar zene értékes, ám ritkán reflektorfénybe kerülő értéke. A program fináléja Kodály Fölszállott a páva című variációsorozata, a 20. századi magyar zene gazdag jelentéstartalmú, emblematikus opusa - írták a közleményben.
A pénteki koncert zongoraszólistája a Kossuth-díjas Balázs János lesz, vezényel Török Levente.
