Lebilincselő utazásra hívja a nézőket a Habsburgok fényűző, mégis tragikus világába a Sisi életét megidéző Elisabeth című musical. A világ számos országában méltán híressé vált darab magyar adaptációját október 3-tól mutatja be az Erkel Színház. Most az eddig titkolt szereposztásról is lehullt a lepel.
Több mint 30 éve debütált a bécsi Theater an der Wien színpadán, és azóta is a musicalirodalom legkiemelkedőbb alkotásaként, világszerte kultikus darabként tartják számon a Habsburg császárné, Sisi sorsának egyedi arcát bemutató, Elisabeth című darabot.
Az előadás nem csupán egy történelmi musical, hanem egy mélyen emberi dráma a szerelemről, veszteségről és a halál elkerülhetetlenségéről, amely új megvilágításba helyezi a császárné alakját és örökségét. Michael Kunze szövegkönyve és Sylvester Levay zenéje egyaránt arra törekszik, hogy Sisi életének árnyalt, érzelmekkel teli oldalát tárja fel, miközben a Halál karaktere nemcsak fenyegető, hanem szenvedélyes és szinte szerelmes figuraként jelenik meg a színen. A darab a zenés színház műfajában újszerű módon ötvözi a történelmi eseményeket és a személyes sorsokat. Szente Vajk rendezése pedig egyedi megközelítést kínál azzal is, hogy
Sisi életszakaszait kettéválasztva külön szereplőt szán a fiatal és az érett, nőiességében kiteljesedett címszereplő megformálására.
A színház ezúttal is különleges módját választotta a szereposztás bemutatásának
Az Erkel homlokzatáról egy többszáz négyzetméteres fátyol ereszkedett alá az épület előtt összegyűlt közönség segítségével, megidézve ezzel Sisi – az előadásban is hasonlóan visszatérő - esküvőjét. Ezután lebbent le a fátyol a darab szereposztásáról is. Eszerint Elisabeth szerepét Vágó Bernadett és Bori Réka játssza, a fiatal Sisit Kovács Gyopár és Pásztor Virág alakítja. Puskás-Dallos Péter és Cseh Dávid Péter Ferenc József, míg Veréb Tamás és Koltai-Nagy Balázs a Halál szerepében lép színpadra. Luigi Lucheni Ember Márk és Serbán Attila lesz az Erkelben, Zsófia főhercegnőt pedig Szinetár Dóra alakítja.
