A Fonogram-életműdíjas Soltész Rezső az M5 Húrokon írt történelem című műsorában mesélt életéről és karrierjéről. "Ötven éve van jelen a zenei színpadokon, számtalan műfajt kipróbált, és az derült ki, hogy a romantikus dalokkal éri el a legnagyobb sikereit. Az 1981-es Táncdalfesztivál óta pedig azt javasolja mindenkinek, hogy 'Szóljon hangosan az ének'. Az előadó, akiről senki nem tud rosszat mondani.
