1965. április 13-án, egy esti stúdiófelvétel során az Abbey Road-on emblematikus dal született: a „Help”. A dal hivatalosan 1965. júliusában jelent meg, és azonnal №1 lett a brit és a tengerentúli slágerlistákon egyaránt.
„Ami akkoriban a Beatles-el történt felülmúlta minden várakozásunkat, és voltak pillanatok, amikor legszívesebben mindannyian azt üvöltöttünk volna, hogy: „segítségég”!”
– mondta a dal szerzője, John Lennon a „Help” kapcsán.
Lennon többször beszélt arról is, hogy ez az egyik kedvenc Beatles dala, annak ellenére, hogy eredetileg lassúbb tempóban képzelte el a szerzeményét.
