A klasszikus zene kortárs világtalálkozója 2026-ban először érkezik Magyarországra: a Hangvető és a Müpa közös szervezésében a Bartók Tavasz Nemzetközi Művészeti Hetek keretében Budapest ad otthont a Classical:NEXT-nek, 2026. április 9–12. között.
A Classical:NEXT a klasszikus zene globális szakmai platformja, ahol a határokat kitágító művészek és a klasszikus zene legkiválóbb szakmai képviselői friss, innovatív ötleteiket bemutatva formálják a műfaj jövőjét.
A rendezvény, amelyre évente több mint 1400 zenei szakember, előadó, menedzser, kiadó, újságíró, tanár és fesztiválszervező érkezik több mint 50 országból, konferenciát, szakmai expot, showcase koncertsorozatot, filmprogramot, valamint díjátadót és networking eseményeket foglal magában.
Budapest történelmi és kulturális öröksége, valamint világhírű zenei hagyománya – Bartók Béla, Kodály Zoltán és Liszt Ferenc városa, és a legnagyobb kortárs zeneszerzők, mint Kurtág György, Ligeti György és Eötvös Péter otthona – tökéletes helyszínt kínál a rendezvénysorozat számára a következő évben.

– mondta Lelkes András, a Hangvető ügyvezető igazgatója a Classical:NEXT bejelentő eseményén május 13-án, Berlinben.
A Classical:NEXT 2026 a Bartók Tavasz Nemzetközi Művészeti Hetek keretében valósul meg, amely 2021-es indulása óta a térség egyik legfontosabb kortárs összművészeti fesztiváljává vált.
