A világhírű izlandi énekesnő, Björk Cornucopia (Bőségszaru) című koncertfilmjét láthatja a közönség május 16-án az Uránia Nemzeti Filmszínházban.
A filmet 2023 szeptemberében a lisszaboni Altice Arénában rögzítették élőben, miután Björk négy éven át járta ezzel a különleges előadással a világot.
A látványos színpadi produkció során az izlandi sztár a korai, kilencvenes évekbeli, poposabb lemezeitől kezdve a későbbi kísérletező albumaiig (Utopia - 2017, Fossora - 2023) adott elő dalokat.
A koncerten különleges hangszerek szólalnak meg, köztük mágneses hárfa, körfuvola, alufon és zengetőkamra.
Színpadra lép a multiinstrumentalista Bergur Thórisson, Manurah Delago ütőhangszeres, a VIIbra fuvolaszeptett, Ha Buck és Kati Buck hárfás is.
A digitálisan animált mozgó hátterek modern laterna magicát vetítenek az élő zenéhez, a 21. századi VR látványvilágot egy 19. századi színház pompájává varázsolva, amit a Dolby Atmos térhangzás tesz még nagyobb élménnyé.
A filmet Ísold Uggadóttir rendezte, maga Björk pedig a hang- és vizuális kreatív rendezést vállalta. James Merry volt a vizuális kreatív társrendező, az eredeti animációk Tobias Gremmler munkái. További közreműködők: Andrew Thomas Huang, Gabríela Fridriksdóttir, Pierre-Alain Giraud, Nick Knight, Warren Du Preez és Nick Thornton-Jones.
Minden idők egyik legkarizmatikusabb és legtitokzatosabb alternatív popsztárja (született Björk Gudmundsdóttir) a nyolcvanas években számos izlandi rockzenekarban (Tappi Tíkarrass, Kukl, Sugarcubes) énekelt, a szélesebb közönség azonban első szólólemeze, az 1993-ban megjelent Debut kapcsán figyelt fel hangjára.
Azóta még kilenc saját albumot adott ki és készített filmzenéket is. 2000-ben a cannes-i fesztiválon a legjobb színésznőnek járó díjat kapta Lars von Trier Táncos a sötétben című filmjében nyújtott alakításáért. 1995-ben Magyarországon is fellépett a Petőfi Csarnokban.
