But thankfully I soon found my razor
Then surprisingly you gave me some complicated days and
You dug me back in the hole to a little more stuck taking
You got me some issues that I needed to solve
Some crisis I just had to face
Just like holes in the ceiling where the rain leaks in
But by compliting this task I saw the sunshine
And realized where my real home is

It took me two years diging in mind
I tell you it's much harder than the same in the ground
Spiritual progress is for those who've been in hell

Hosszú idő után újra összeállt Diaz és Mentha: megjelent a Méreg, a duó friss dala, amely a 2010-es években megismert közös munkák (Nélküled, A part) után új fejezetet nyit a történetükben.
A Méreg az elmúlt évek megpróbáltatásaira, belső vívódásaira reflektál: ugyanakkor nem csak a veszteségekről szól, hanem arról az állapotról, amikor az ember azt érzi, hogy nincs a jó úton, de ezt még magának sem meri bevallani. A belső én ilyenkor szinte ordít, hogy valami nem oké, de ezt sokszor nem halljuk meg - a refrén is erre a felismerésre reflektál.
„Sokszor vannak olyan pillanatok, amikor úgy érezzük, senki nem ért meg minket, pedig jó lenne, ha valaki mélyre látna és meglátná, mi a bajunk. Közben ezeknek a dolgoknak a nagy részét végül magunkban kell helyretennünk”
- meséli a dalról Diaz. A Méreg hangulatában melankolikus és mély, ugyanakkor fontos volt, hogy reményt is adjon: „Szerettem volna, ha azt éreznék az emberek, hogy nincsenek egyedül.”
A zene és a szöveg megírásán túl a videoklip is teljes egészében self made módon készült. A Kanári-szigeteken, Tenerifén forgatott anyagról Mentha így mesélt: „Ez egy régi történet köztünk Diazzal, mindig ott volt a levegőben, hogy egyszer újra csinálunk valamit. Most jött el az ideje”. A videót stáb nélkül forgatták le, minden külső segítség nélkül, ami tudatos döntés volt: "A videót teljes egészében mi készítettük - gyakorlatilag én forgattam az anyagot, stáb nélkül. Itthon nem találtunk olyan helyszínt, ami azt éreztük, hogy passzolt volna a dal hangulatához. Az óceán, a fekete homokos tengerpart és a Teide látványa viszont mind erősen rezonált a Méreg világával” - teszi hozzá.
A Diaz-Mentha együttműködés nem érinti sem a Wellhello, sem a Hősök működését: mindkét formáció továbbra is aktív, a Méreg egy különálló projekt eredménye.
