Az ausztrál hard rock zenekar energikus koncertjeivel és sallangmentes rock and roll zenéjével markáns helyet szerezett magának a színtéren. Az O’Keeffe testvérek által alapított banda nem ismeretlen a hazai közönség számára, a srácok már többször adtak teltházas koncertet Budapesten, most pedig itt a visszatérés ideje: Airbourne koncert 2025. március 25-én az Akvárium Klubban.
Az ausztráliai Victoria tartományból származó zenekart 2003-ban alapította egy testvérpár, Joel és Ryan O’Keeffe, akik hamar sikeresen követeltek maguknak helyet a rock szcénában pulzáló előadásaiknak és klisémentes rock’n’roll dalaiknak köszönhetően. A formációt jelenleg a testvérek mellett Justin Street basszusgitáros és Jarrad Morrice gitáros alkotják.
A banda 2007-es Runnin’ Wild című debütáló anyagával hamar felkerült a toplistákra, ahogy a soron következő lemezeik is rendre stabil helyezéseket értek el a toplistákon világszerte. A sikerek megszilárdították a zenekar hírnevét, mindenki számára jelezve, hogy a rock világában igenis számolni kell velük, kereskedelmi sikereik mellett pedig a kiritikusok elismerését is kivíták, 2017-ben az “Év albuma” díjra jelölték őket a Classic Rock Roll of Honour Awards-on.
A banda megalakulása óta több mint 1100 koncertet adott szerte a világban, köztük a legnagyobb fesztiválokon is megfordultak, mint a Wacken, a Download, a Hellfest, a Rock am Ring és a Rock im Park. Fáradhatatlan koncertkörútjuk során olyan rockóriásokkal osztoztak a színpadon, mint az Iron Maiden, a a Motörhead és a Rolling Stones.
Az Airbourne a klasszikus rock egyik legelközelezettebb fáklyavívője, szinte folyamatosan úton vannak, de a lassulás legcsekélyebb jeleit sem mutatják, a zenekar a rock’n’roll szellemét életben tartva turnézik a világ körül és 2025-ben hozzánk is visszatérnek. Jegyek elsőként a regisztrált Live Nation tagok számára lesznek elérhetők június 18. 10 órától, a teljeskörű jegyértékesítés június 19-én, 10 órakor indul.
